The past, beautifully reimagined.
Some things are never meant to be forgotten.
The music. The stories. The craftsmanship. The character of another era.
A fascination
with things
that carry a story.
Since childhood, I have been fascinated by history and by the beauty of things that carry a story. That fascination eventually found its way into my work as a costume stylist, where for over 15 years I have worked across films and advertising, creating wardrobes for characters and styling numerous celebrities.
Over the years, I realised something: the past doesn’t need to be left behind. It simply needs to be reimagined.
And that thought became House of Gramophone.
Vintage soul.
Modern form.
House of Gramophone is a contemporary clothing label inspired by the romance of vintage eras, brought to life through modern, effortless silhouettes.
We create pieces that feel nostalgic without feeling outdated - garments that carry the soul of another time, while belonging completely to today.
Our collections are made in pure linen, chosen for its natural character, comfort and timeless appeal. Every piece is thoughtfully developed, handcrafted and finished with an obsessive attention to detail.
Craftsmanship
at heart.
From hand embroidery and appliqués created by skilled women artisans to our meticulous construction, craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we make.
Even the inside of a House of Gramophone garment is designed to be beautiful.
Every stitch is finished with care, so that the garment looks as considered inside as it does outside.
As we grow, our dream is to create hundreds of distinctive designs each month while preserving the intimacy and exclusivity that makes each House of Gramophone piece special.
A collection
of memories.
House of Gramophone is, in many ways, a collection of memories.
Today, we begin with menswear, with an evolving vision that will eventually extend into womenswear - always staying true to our language of vintage inspiration, modern silhouettes and meticulous craftsmanship.
Our ambition is to build House of Gramophone into a world where you don’t simply buy a garment.
And perhaps, years from now, that piece will become part of yours.
The vision
behind it.
After more than 15 years styling in the film and advertising industry, House of Gramophone is my way of bringing together everything I have always loved - history, costume, storytelling, craftsmanship and the art of making clothes feel like they belong to a character.
Because the past is not something to move on from.
It is something to cherish, reinterpret and wear forward.
